Dame Springtime made her debut in a potpourri of fun on the dance floor at our April "Spring Fling". Pastel colors of pink, yellow, purple & blue lined the decorated ballroom and floral dresses adorned the lovely ladies as their dance embraced the joys of springtime. The spring theme was carried through on the refreshment table with a variety of fresh fruit, homemade cookies, hors d' overs and candies that compliments the Easter bunnies, flowers and a choice of spring flower cakes in both white & chocolate.

Special entertainment was provided by the SDSD demonstration class under the guidance of Irina Chalkevitch. An elegant waltz was performed by 5 couples. An Argentine tango was delightfully performed 5 different couples. Russ Jenkins was DJ for the evening and did a superb job with a great blend of mixers, two line dances and a very pleasing variety of dance-tempo tunes. A special thanks to all of the members who helped unveil our wonderful "Spring Fling" dance so successful.

Many thanks to Cindy for this article and to Vern Miranda for the photos taken since I was unable to attend.
